I was really excited as well as nervous to purchase this camera. I recently moved to Australia and one of the first trips I was going on when I first got here was to see the Great Barrier Reef. I was really excited to be able to take pictures of the reef but I was nervous something would go wrong with the camera and I wouldn’t get my pictures. The camera worked amazing, and the pictures are remarkable. The camera is also extremely beneficial if you’re going to be in an area where it rains a lot because you don’t have to worry about hiding it, but you are still able to take pictures! I would highly recommend this camera!
This camera is awfull. It ruined all my vacation in Bahamas. The water shots is good thought but the whole camera is very complicated to use. It takes too long to display images, the image quality is not good, a lot shaking, pale image and the flash light is your worse enemy. I went to a disney cruise to celebrate my sons 10 aniversary, but i spent most of the time trying to figure how the camera works. I missed a lot good shots and memories that unfortunatelly will never came back. This camera is not recomended by me, i wish i could return it.i wish someone have told me before i buy it.
The picture quality is not that good..I was hoping for a 10MP camera, they would be more clear.
When you shoot in sport mode, it seems to give the best picture.
Either way it does the job…
So I bought this camera after I already have a nikon d3000. I surf daily and decided to check this thing out. What your paying is a deal thy definatly worth it. I take a wave, thn on the way swimming back take shots of other people getting barreled! Pic quality is good enough. The only thing that I suggest is if you decide to get it, when using in water buy the glass cleaner rain-x to clean the front lens so not as much water spots slow you down. Overall I can’t even tell you how many cool pics I have got with this thing!
Shutter sticks – but otherwise a nice camera.
Will get a workout once the ice clears and I take it fishing on the streams and lakes.
